Flagstaff Altitude - 7000 Feet

Flagstaff was ok.  Our hotel was nice enough, but was too close to the rail yard & none of us slept really well (Check out our review on Tripadvisor! http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g60971-d240034-r12958313-Quality_Inn_Flagstaff_East_Lucky_Lane-Flagstaff_Arizona.html)  The Observatory was really cool though & we saw Mars, the Moon and the Orion Nebula.  No pictures of any of that unfortunately, so enjoy these random shots.

Jerome - Elevation 5000 Feet

Tucked away on the side of a mountain is the town of Jerome.  Previously a copper mine which produced (in it's lifetime) 4 Million Tons of Ore, the town now seems to be catering to tourists with good food & old west town style.

There would be NO way I'd go down in that

Phoenix - 1100 Feet

We ended up back in Phoenix, visiting with friends who had moved there almost two years ago.  We had a great time hiking & relaxing for two days prior to leaving for home.  It was really nice not to drive for a few days!  Unfortunately, my camera decided to destroy a few of these pictures, so I don't have very many.  I'll work on recovering the files & getting them posted.
