Grace & I celebrated our 15th anniversary (and they said it wouldn't last!) by traveling to Europe, just as we did just before we were married.  This time, we flew into Munich, drove through Austria and stopped in Italy to visit with some friends.  We took lots of pictures, as usual, and if scenic vistas and church interiors are your thing, well then you're in luck!

 Let's start things off with some information and shots of Munich...

Munich is the capital of the German federal state Bavaria & is Germany's third largest city.  It was founded in 1158 AD.  The Hofbräuhaus (see below) was built by Duke Wilhelm V in 1589.  While it's churches are numerous and beautiful, many of them were extensively damaged during WWII and needed to be rebuilt.
