This is not the Italy you know. This
section of Italy, in the province of Bolzano is more German than not, and German
is the primary language spoken here. This is the home of Brunnenburg
Castle, where Grace spent a semester studying the works of Ezra Pound. We
came back to visit Sizzo & Brigitte, who run the program @ Brunnenburg.
They were kind enough to let us spend the day tagging along with them as they
closed up the summer castle, Tschengles, for the winter. I don't have any
pictures of Brunnenburg specifically, since I thought that taking a bunch of
pictures of our host's home would be rude. Instead, here are some pictures
of the castle I've culled from the web!
