About the sounds:  Sounds of the Swamp.  The screeching is a Jacana talking to it's friend.

"The swamp is much like our Huntley Meadows, with the main difference being the large (3 to 4 ft.) lily pads sitting on the water's surface."

"We went to a village to ask if they wouldn't mind showing us their school tomorrow.  From the banks we saw a pod of pink dolphins in the distance.  Guillermo tried to follow them, no luck.  Then we headed home and there they were.  One jumped out of the water right in front of the boat.  It was in the Sucasari River!  What great luck!"

"A special surprise from Armando tonight - a ride in an authentic dugout canoe.  No lights, no motors, just paddling down the river by moonlight.  The other guide in the boat, Guillermo, is lightning fast & has grabbed several unsuspecting creatures for our inspection."

"I am amazed by Guillermo.  Since I was 15 I haven't seen hands that move that fast!"
